# End of Support for Yoroi on Firefox Browser Extension

###### End of support for Yoroi Firefox browser extension
Effective immediately, support for the Yoroi wallet on the Firefox browser extension has ended.

###### Why we’re ending support on Firefox
We made this decision because Firefox does not currently support hardware wallets like Trezor or Ledger. Since hardware wallet compatibility is a key part of our product experience, Firefox users wouldn’t be able to connect their devices securely. Without this support, the connection process could be incomplete or less secure.

###### What this means for users
* You can **no longer update** the Yoroi wallet extension on Firefox.
* The **latest supported version** of Yoroi wallet on Firefox is** 5.17**.
* Future updates, features, and security improvements will **not be available** on Firefox.
We recommend switching to one of the following **supported browsers** for continued compatibility:

###### How to continue using your wallet
To keep accessing your wallet safely and receive ongoing updates:
1. Install the wallet extension on **Chrome**, **Brave**, or **Edge**.
2. Import your wallet using your **recovery phrase** or **hardware wallet**.
3. (Optional) Remove the Firefox extension to prevent confusion with outdated versions.
