How does cashback in Yoroi work?

What is ADA Cashback?

ADA Cashback allows you to earn rewards in ADA when shopping through partnered retailers. The cashback is automatically tracked and credited to your Yoroi wallet.

How to shop and earn

There are two ways to start earning cashback:

Option 1: Directly from Yoroi

1. Open Yoroi and go to the Cashback tab. The list of retailers you see is automatically tailored based on your location.
2. Browse or search for a partner store.
3. Click Start Shopping to view cashback terms and go to the retailer’s website.
4. Complete your purchase using a supported payment method:

• Credit or debit card
• PayPal
• Apple Pay or Google Pay
• Other digital wallets

Option 2: While browsing retail sites

1. If you're browsing a cashback partner site with the Yoroi extension installed, a pop-up will appear prompting you to activate the Cashback feature.
2. When the pop-up appears, click LET’S GO.
3. Choose your wallet and activate cashback.
4. Complete your purchase on the site.

Cashback rewards are then linked to the wallet you had selected when activating cashback. If you do not see your reward after it becomes available, check other addresses within that wallet.

How to Claim Your Crypto Rewards

Cashback rewards appear in Pending Rewards within about 48 hours after your purchase is confirmed.

Each retailer has a lock/confirmation period (for example, to account for returns or cancellations). After this period ends, the reward becomes eligible to claim. To view the exact conditions, go to Cashback, find the retailer, and click Terms and Restrictions.

There is a minimum cashback amount required before you can claim. You can see your current threshold and progress in the Claim Cashback section. You must have at least 13 ADA in cashback rewards to be able to claim them.

Once you meet the minimum and click Claim, your ADA cashback is sent to your Yoroi wallet. In most cases, this transfer is processed shortly after you confirm the claim.
