How to delete my Yoroi wallet?

You can remove Yoroi by uninstalling the browser extension from your browser’s Extensions section or by deleting the Yoroi mobile app from your device. In accordance with the Yoroi Privacy Policy, Yoroi does not store any user data, so there is no personal information for EMURGO to delete. While you can remove the wallet from your device, wallets themselves cannot be deleted from the blockchain.

To ensure Yoroi data is removed from your device, follow these steps:

1. Uninstall the Yoroi browser extension or delete the Yoroi mobile app from your phone.

Note: Uninstalling Yoroi will permanently remove the wallet’s private keys and all locally stored data from your device. If you do not have the recovery phrase for this wallet, you will permanently lose access to it.
