Where do I store my private keys?

Private keys are stored encrypted on your device and are never shared with any external server. They are not transmitted to Yoroi’s infrastructure or any third party under any circumstances.

Yoroi will never ask for your recovery phrase or private keys, even for support purposes. This means you are fully responsible for securely storing your recovery phrase, because it is the only way to restore access to your wallet.

If you install or restore the same wallet on multiple devices using the same recovery phrase, each device will create and keep its own encrypted copy of the private keys locally.
