I have lost my password. How to reset it?

To reset your password, you'll need to restore your wallet using the recovery phrase. This will involve removing the current wallet instance. If you're unsure about your recovery phrase, we recommend testing it on a different browser or device first to confirm it's correct. Alternatively, you can begin the restoration process, and if you receive a message stating that the wallet is already restored, this indicates that the recovery phrase is correct.

Once you've verified that your recovery phrase is correct, go to Settings > Wallet > Remove wallet (if you're using the extension, scroll to the bottom of the page if you don't see the option.) Remove the current copy of the wallet from your device.

Then, restore the wallet on your current device.  Here are the guides for restoring a wallet in Yoroi Extension and Yoroi Mobile.

During the restoration process, you can set a new password. Keep in mind that this password is stored locally and will only apply to the new instance of the wallet, not to other devices.
