I lost my recovery phrase. How can I access my funds?

The recovery phrase is essential for restoring a Yoroi wallet. It is shown only once during the wallet creation process and cannot be regenerated or retrieved later under any circumstances.

If you have lost your recovery phrase but still have access to the wallet on at least one device and know the password, you should immediately move your funds to a new wallet for which you do have the recovery phrase securely backed up. Create a new wallet, carefully back up its recovery phrase, then send all assets (including tokens and rewards) to this new wallet.

If you no longer have access to the wallet on any device and the recovery phrase cannot be found, the funds in that wallet are permanently inaccessible. There is no technical way to restore the wallet without its recovery phrase.

Yoroi is a non‑custodial wallet. This means the Yoroi team does not hold your keys, recovery phrase, or funds, and therefore cannot reset, recover, or bypass a lost recovery phrase.
