Every time you make a transaction with your Yoroi Wallet Extension (desktop) and Yoroi Mobile, you will be prompted to enter a specific user-generated password to confirm or authorize it. In Yoroi, this is called your password.
What is a Password?
Your Yoroi password is an additional layer of security designed to protect your Cardano ADA and other supported assets. This password is created during the initial setup of your Yoroi wallet and is required to authorize transactions and certaFew readersWhere do I store my private keys?
Private keys are stored encrypted on your device and are never shared with any external server. They are not transmitted to Yoroi’s infrastructure or any third party under any circumstances.
Yoroi will never ask for your recovery phrase or private keys, even for support purposes. This means you are fully responsible for securely storing your recovery phrase, because it is the only way to restore access to your wallet.
If you install or restore the same wallet on multiple devices using theFew readersHow do I log out of Yoroi desktop extension?
The Yoroi browser extension does not have a dedicated “log out” or “lock” button. Instead, access to your funds is protected by your wallet password or hardware wallet and by the security of your device and browser session.
